Parenting Matters Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization (Tax ID # 94-3239604). Our mission is to help parents do an excellent job as their child’s First Teacher. Much of the funding for our organization comes from grants, service clubs, area school districts, fee for service, individual donations, and other sponsorships. We are a United Way of Clallam County partner agency.

With your help we can improve a child's chance to succeed in school and in life. By helping parents understand child development and appropriate discipline, we can help them become more effective. With more effective parents we can encourage a child's learning and curiosity, increase her level of trust decrease school dropouts, reduce juvenile delinquency, improve early identification of developmental problems, promote respect for authority, lower teen pregnancy rates, reduce behavior problems in school and in the community, and our whole society will benefit.
